Elastic around waist puckers too tight.

I didn't like the thickness/tightness of the elastic band around the waist AT ALL! Everything else in regards to these pants-> loose %26 comfy (though they are quite long). DEFINITELY keep me warm in the frigid MN winter. But if I want to be comfortable >20min. I will most likely have to dig out my seam ripper from my 8th grade Home Economics Class in order to try and find some way to make it more comfy in that area.
