I bought this as a gift for my daughter. As a PacAsian, it's not the best when it comes to cooking rice but at least it does the job and she wanted to cook soups and stuff in it. We love this little rice cooker. It's great because it's simple to use. The box includes all the measuring tools you need to make enough rice for up to 2 people as well as a steam pan. We have used it since January and it serves well as a couple. I can also easily make a single serving in it if I want. It would be too small to make enough rice for a crowd so we use our Instant for that.
