We recently moved into a new house in Florida, and if you’ve ever lived here, you know that anything metal left outside rusts or gets filthy in what feels like minutes. I was specifically looking for something that could handle the humidity, rainstorms, and relentless sun without falling apart. This bench is made of HDPE (basically the same stuff they make lifetime picnic tables out of), and so far it’s been fantastic. Zero rust, zero staining, and it wipes clean with a damp rag in seconds. No mildew spots and no fading like we’ve seen on every other outdoor furniture piece we own. It is sitting in full Florida sun for 8 hours a day. Assembly was shockingly easy — I had it together in under 10 minutes with no missing parts and no swearing (a personal record). I almost bought the exact same bench on Wayfair for literally double the price. I had it in my cart and everything… then the algorithm gods smiled on me and this one popped up in my feed at half the cost. Highly recommend!
