This is an attractive, nicely made hat. I'm a female with thin hair. A one size fits all hat ought to fit me. But even with its buckle pulled as tight as I could get it and then loosened so I could get it all the way on my head, the bottom, open end circumference was too loose all the way around. Since it was also a tall hat and I didn't want it to be wrapped around the cartilage of my ears, I had to put it behind them, which made me look like a jug headband be too loose, I could get the ends of my fingers under the edge of the hat on both sides of my head.No baseball hat is one size fits all. They will either be too small and be uncomfortable or look silly on someone who has a medium to large head. Or they will be too large and obviously too big for a smaller head. A medium size hat could fit more people than a large hat. So this large size fit my husband and not me. The manufacturer should know that making the head band larger so small people can tighten up the bottom, cause the headband to pucker while wrapping it around the ears is not a solution. If they had made 3 sizes, they will sell more hats. It's easy to see they thought a large hat with a head band larger than any other part of the hat would be a big seller. But no, it makes the hat tighter above the band so it puckers at the top on a grown man but is loose at the bottom and is annoying so low on a medium persons ears. In other words, it doesn't quite look right on anyone. Make the hat to look normal on someone, make 3 sizes. Eventually all the hats will fit someone.I gave it 4 stars for being good workmanship but zero stars for being larger around the band than it is 2 inches above the band. Heads are not shaped like that.
