EYEYE Disposable Fountain Pens, 8 Pack Multicolor Fine Point Fountain Pens for Writing, Stainless Steel Nib, Smooth Writing for Calligraphy, Journaling, Drafting, Sketching, Doodling & Gifts

I've been using fountain pens since my teens, taught by my high school drafting teacher how to print without smearing ink—a skill that's served me well as a left-hander. I'm a longtime collector and daily user who made a costly mistake two years ago: switching to cheaper gel pens to save money. That was false economy. I now have about twenty dead gel pens that no YouTube trick could resurrect, and I'm facing roughly 300% more plastic waste in the landfill than these fountain pens would ever create. After years chasing that mirage, I'm finally returning to what I should never have abandoned. The difference is immediately obvious. Fountain pen writing is incomparably smooth—zero pressure needed to make a mark, just pure gliding. The natural pen angle is more ergonomic and easier to control than ballpoint or gel pens. My cursive and printing both look noticeably better. The multicolor selection is excellent. I'm considering gifting some of the lighter (feminine) colors to my granddaughter, who journals and annotates her Bible and keeping the darker colors, including the red and orange, for my daily check register balancing and note-taking on 3x5 cards. The fine point nib and stainless steel construction deliver exactly what I need. One note: I'm retired now, and my grip strength isn't what it was a decade ago. I prefer a bit wider grip area and more texture for comfort during extended writing sessions. These EYEYE pens are on the slimmer side with minimal texture—something a younger person would handle without issue, as I did years ago. If you have a strong grip or are younger, this won't matter at all. Yes, these are disposable and non-refillable—but that's their greatest strength. I've always feared losing a favorite fountain pen while traveling, especially a family heirloom or prized pen. These disposables eliminate that anxiety entirely. I can confidently carry a pen without risk, then simply move to the next one when the ink runs out. **Bottom line**: If you've been loyal to gel pens out of habit or perceived economy, give these fountain pens a genuine try. You won't go back.
