Flycity 48" Farmhouse Lift Top Coffee Table with Storage Sliding Barn Door, Pull up Coffee Table with Hidden Compartment for Living Room Bedroom, Gray

This is the first assembly of multiple pieces that I have been able to do with all pieces and clear directives included. Very few words and VERY clear pictures. The instructions were right on . Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Overall, the piece feels sturdy and is nice once assembled. I will say that during assembly, you will want to be careful. One of the connecting screw pieces in a bottom corner stripped out of its pre-drilled hole, which could cause some annoying disjointing in the future when moving the table. We happened to have some leftover glue for dowels on similar furniture we used to help rectify the issue. I will say this makes me a little concerned that the other parts may also strip out over time if you move the piece by pushing from one side. It may be best to lift one side at a time for relocation or for two people to lift and move it or consider adding carpet slides for furniture. The feet feel like they flex a fair amount when pushing the unit to move it which may mean they could break in the future. For the weight of the piece, they may be a little small and fragile for common relocation such as we might do with daily use. The doors are a nice addition, though they feel a little thin/fragile. Personally, I think I would prefer the sliding doors to be on the same side of the table as the tabletop opens toward. Lastly, the center shelf can be somewhat annoying. I think it should be permanently installed instead of resting on shelf tabs, or it should be adjustable. I find that people, especially kids, will idly put their feet on the edge of the shelf (in place of a footstool) and it will flop up and make a loud noise. There is potential for future damage there. At the least, I would recommend that you use something to secure the shelf or just use the piece without it depending on your needs. Overall, the piece looks great and has some excellent features. There are a few minor improvements that can be made, but for the price it seems to be a good value. I'm sure with a little creativity and care, you could upgrade it to overcome these few small shortcomings and make it a great, long-lasting addition to your home.
