These gloves run small. I returned the small size and bought 2 medium pair, one for a gift to our daughter as she walks her dog. They are warm for damp, very chilly weather. You can use your phone and take pictures with the gloves on. Yes, the gloves are wind proof. The palm fits snug. I like how my dog's leash slides through my glove. Beware they might not be thick enough for severe cold, weather without another layer precipitation. To drive excellent as well.
