About this item

Product details

Good Ideas Rain Wizard is a black plastic rain barrel with a faux-wood design and a 50 gal capacity for collecting rainfall beneath a gutter or downspout. Stored water is intended for outdoor watering of garden beds, containers, and landscape plantings. The flat-back profile measures 22 in L x 22 in W x 30 in H and rests against a house; the front-side overflow helps direct excess water away from the wall. A plastic mesh screen at the entry helps keep debris out of stored water. The included brass spigot connects to a hose and can also serve as an overflow outlet for watering. The polyethylene construction resists growth and withstands cold conditions without cracking or splitting. The 19 lb unit can remain outdoors during winter when it is drained before temperatures fall below freezing. A connector kit may be used to link additional units, but it is not included. This water storage container is intended for collected rainwater used in outdoor watering and landscape care.
  • 50 Gal Water Storage: This plastic rain barrel stores collected rainfall beneath a gutter or downspout for outdoor watering.
  • Space Saving Profile: Flat-back construction sits against a house, while the front-side overflow helps direct excess water away from the wall.
  • Convenient Hose Connection: Brass spigot connects to a hose or serves as an overflow outlet for access to collected water.
  • Cleaner Water Storage: Plastic mesh screen helps keep debris out as rainwater enters from a gutter system for garden use.
  • Faux Wood Appearance: Black faux-wood design is paired with a connector kit option; the kit is not included for linking units.

Rain barrel

Rain barrel was exactly as ordered. Fairly easy assembly. Had to add a flexible downspout. Faucet was simple. Have used it now for 4 weeks. No problems and fill water bottles and water pitcher for flowers. Will refer friends to this.
