Brass Garden Hose Repair Connector with Clamps Hose End Repair Kit,Fit for 3/4"Garden Hose Fitting,Male and Female Hose Fittings,1-Set

I ordered these for a hose that lost its tip. I've had it for over 7 years and it has held up great out in this South Texas heat, so I thought that I would try and save it. Plus lets face it 100 ft garden hoses can be expensive and maybe I'm cheap. I couldn't tell if my hose was a 3/4 or 5/8 so I ordered this package because it came with fittings for both sizes. Today I finally had the opportunity to put the 5/8 female fitting on and it worked great. The only thing I didn't like is that nut on the clasp is small and you have to screw it on tight so you push into it hard. That caused the screwdriver to slip off the nut and it nicked my hand. They need to make these nuts with a recessed nut top or a star. Dangerous clasp and very cheap, I honestly don't think i will last long. The actual fitting works great and looks to be made to last for a while.

For the price it's a good product and it doesn't leak
