This wasn't flannel like, and I am glad it wasn't. It's more of a soft fuzzy plush, a lot nicer than flannel. The reversible side is a cooling nice cotton feel, and the fuzzy side is very beautiful. Very happy with this item. The comforter is not heavy, it's light and cozy comfortable. Perfect to be exact. I got the grey color, it looks absolutely regal and tied in the whole room decor I have going on.
