We don't have a fireplace so I got this as something fun for my daughter at Christmas. I am overall happy with it. It was a little annoying to put together only since it was hard to get the corrugated front into the base evenly. I watched a YouTube video on putting it together which was helpful.

If you love vintage nostalgia, then this is the item for you! I love the look of this CARDBOARD fireplace! It was not as easy to assemble as advertised so that's why I left off one star. But once assembled it looks fantastic. Good, standard size so it fits perfectly in front of my nonworking fireplace. Bright colors and graphics. The top piece or “mantle” can hold a few light items. Great price! I am very happy I found this!
