Beautiful

Beautiful Design but Thinner Fabric Than Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The peacock and peony print on this navy, satin robe is truly beautiful and very eye catching. The colors are vibrant, and the overall design looks elegant and luxurious at first glance. I also liked the V neck and wide 3/4 sleeves, which allow for easy movement and a relaxed feel. The robe drapes nicely and has a smooth, silky finish, but the material is thinner than I expected. While it is mostly opaque, the lightweight fabric does not feel as substantial or luxurious as it appears in photos. Because of the thinness, it feels more like a light layering piece than a cozy or high quality satin robe. The stitching is decent and the seams are finished well, including the belt and pockets. It does run quite large. I was able to comfortably wear it over a hoodie, so the adjustable inner tie and outer belt are helpful, but the oversized fit may not be for everyone. Overall, it is a pretty robe with a lovely pattern, but the thin material and larger fit brought down the experience for me.
