I can't rate Battery life since recently received. But I did purchase the warranty. It's not quiet and will hear the rolling/movements but So far, it mops and sweeps on time (scheduled). We have pets and can't sweep and mop daily, we needed this to assist keeping our floors clean. This is an item that I feel must have in your home.
