I don't need a fashionable stainless steel trash can with an insert container that contains the trash bag unseen, but if you're okay with seeing the plastic liner around the outside edge, this can id for you. The lid sensor is very responsive, a 13 gallon trash bag fits perfectly once you fold it over around the outside edge, and with a damp paper towel it cleans up nicely. The batteries have been in for five months with no signs of giving out. I'm happy with my purchase and recommend this kitchen trash can. I gave it 4 stars on appearance for the simple reason some may want a more finished look to match appliances.
