Ridiculous Set-up!

We may never know what the picture, etc are like. Setup with Google TV is absolutely ridiculous!!! And I'm not sure if it's Google's fault or Hisense's fault or both! We just wanted a tv we could watch both cable and Netflix on, and it doesn't seem of its possible to do both on this tv. If it is, the setup instructions sure are confusing/impossible to follow. This has been a frustrating, disastrous experience. We have set up several “Smart” TVs, but this one is the dumbest and practically hopeless.

While Google TV’s initial setup does require accepting their terms to proceed, we want to assure you that you can still use basic functions (such as HDMI for your DVD player) without an active internet connection.
