Worth the investment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've this pan for over 2 years now. When I purchased it I debated between this one and models from All Clad and Viking. I ultimately chose Cuisinart based on the handle orientation and my experience with the brand. I made the right call. Aside from being a beautiful pan, this thing is substantial. It's seared a smoked roast in a 550 degree oven with no warping or discoloration and similarly stood up to use over two burners to make a pan sauce. Just be aware of two things… 1) this is a large roaster. If you're only doing typical chickens this will be overkill. 2) while dishwasher safe, this thing looks like a showpiece you want to have seen at big meals. If you want the finish to stay gleaming, I'd hand wash. A little dawn power wash and / or a soak and it's good as new.
