Perfect set for any Harry Potter fans

My 8-year-old Harry Potter fan absolutely loves this LEGO Hogwarts Castle Boathouse set. The two little boats are super cute, each with room for two minifigures and a buildable lantern, and the boathouse has fun details like a docking spot, a hiding place for Trevor the toad, and even a spot to display one of the random collectible Hogwarts portraits. The set comes with 7 minifigures: Harry, Hermione, Neville, Dean Thomas, Professor McGonagall, plus Hedwig and Trevor. The build is just the right challenge for kids aged 8 and over. What's really the best part is how this connects to other modular Hogwarts sets for a cool full castle display. It's a great starter or addition to the collection. Highly recommend as a birthday or holiday gift. It's created hours of imaginative play in our house.

Fun to build and excellent quality. We love Lego!

We bought the Boathouse as an add-on to the Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle, and it doesn't disappoint! The build was fun, the added details, like the owl, plants, tree, boats, etc made it more engaging and more true to the Harry Potter stories. It took about 40 minutes to build (with interruptions) and wasn't terribly difficult, but the instructions were very clear and easy to follow, which helped a lot. I loved all the detail that went into the foundation - some of which you can't even see when the boathouse is completed. Once again, Lego has created something really special. I hate paying the hefty price for Lego, but landed a great Black Friday deal and it was well worth the cost for the quality of the product.
