Very strong case. It has 3 layers. 2 pc hard plastic inner layer and 1 pc rubber outer layer. This is my first defender case so It took me a while to figure out how to install it. (Do not force it in.) simply remove the rubber pc first and you will find very easy from there. Highly recommended. I will for sure get another color so I can mix and match the colors.
