Good idea

This trash receptacle is manufactured with careful thought. It is provided with 1 set (4 each) smooth lining that needs to be installed by the customer i along the interior walls of the trash receptacle. The purpose of this lining is to prevent the plastic trash bag from getting hung up along potentially sharp edges of the interior walls resulting in to tearing the bag during removal and disposal. I purchased 2 of these receptacles for this specific reason.

Looks very neat and presentable, and is reasonably priced. Easy to assemble and very spacious. I hesitated to buy at first because there was no description to confirm if the lid latches. I was pleasantly surprised that the lid latches well, because my main goal was to deter squirrels and raccoons from getting into the trash. The dual lid closure secures the trash bag well. However, a 33-gal bag will hang and not touch bottom. For me, this was an issue because I cannot just throw in anything without fear of dislodging the bag. I solved this by putting a small plastic box at the bottom to support the bottom of the trash bag. I'm very happy with this purchase. Let's see how long it can survive New York seasons.
