Great Value Spaghetti Pasta, 1 lb, 4 Count

Excellent pasta. Excellent price.

I bought this spaghetti thinking four pounds sounded like a lot. Reader, it is not. Four pounds might feed a normal family. Maybe even a large family. But my family apparently consists of a competitive eating team disguised as ordinary people. I cooked the entire package. The entire thing. The pot was so full I had to stir it with the caution and concentration of a bomb disposal technician. As it cooked, I looked upon the mountain of spaghetti and thought, "Excellent. Leftovers for days." How naive. Dinner started at 6:00 PM. By 6:17 PM, all available evidence suggested the spaghetti had never existed. I checked the kitchen. I checked the trash. I briefly considered filing a missing persons report. My family members were sitting at the table asking if there was any more. ANY MORE? I had just prepared enough pasta to insulate a small home. To be fair, the spaghetti was fantastic. It cooked perfectly, tasted great, and held sauce beautifully. My only complaint is that the package should come with a warning: "Serving size estimates may not apply to households containing teenagers, athletes, snack enthusiasts, or people who 'just want a little more.'" Five stars. Outstanding spaghetti. Next time I'm buying eight pounds and a backup emergency pasta reserve. 🍝😂🏆
