I have to say that overall, this particular unit gets the job done but I think that HiBrew could have done better and that there are others out there that run about the same price and have good reviews... however, I paid the price of $99.00 (on sale, down from $159.99) and would be less happy if I had paid full price. But all that being said, it does get the job done and I am satisfied with that! Firstly, I want to say that the "...built-in air-blower technology..." that was advertised, is a small, 2-fold rubber bellows that sits atop the unit that you have to pump by hand. I find it impractical and don't even try to use it anymore because even with pumping air into the unit, the actual grinding burr housing/setup never clears excess grounds properly. The grounds do leak out after the grinding is complete, a little at a time as you remove the grind basket and incidentally jostle the unit during cleaning. I have to shake the unit constantly during the grinding in order to keep things somewhat tidy. The anti-static coating in the hopper and grind basket works well though. Also, I have mixed thoughts about grind uniformity... on "espresso-size" the HiBrew does great!! On the "Pour-over (French-Press)" size... not so much. The machine's footprint is nice and fits on the counter well, the hopper and grind basket/canister are decent size for small grinding jobs.
