The sink mat itself is so pretty in my white Blanco sink. The first time my son saw it in the bottom of the sink, he thought there were ice cubes in the sink. I had purchased the clear sparkly ones. They are pretty - when they're new - but if I was to order them again, I would get a dark colored set that will not stain. I used these for 3 days and they were so badly stained that I was considering throwing them away. I am careful and clean in my kitchen, but when I rinsed a plate that had some tomato sauce on it - boom! Stained. I tried bleach, Comet cleanser, sunlight and washing them in the dishwasher and nothing removed the stains. The mat is sturdy, and you can trim the center of them to create an opening for the drain - but if you desire a clean looking sink, buy another color. I'm very disappointed.
