. Tools Needed: Measuring Tape, Scissors. Step 1 Remove existing side panels, leaving the frame. Measure the height and width of side panels from top to bottom. Step 2 Cut the foam panel and the plastic channel to the proper height and width. (Note: rib side facing indoors). Step 3 Tuck edge of foam panel into plastic channel. (Note: each foam panel gets one channel to adhere to air conditioner). Step 4 Peel the adhesive backing from the plastic channel and press it firmly against the side of the air conditioner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was something I never expected to be so useful. I didn't think I had any issues with the installation of our window ac. I have an old 1889 farm house and we don't have any duct work. Proper efficiency can difficult to achieve, but this foam secured the unit and helped seal the off any draft.

does what is expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the DUCK Air Conditioner Insulating Seal on a new air conditioner that was installed at the end of the season. It has worked perfectly and stayed in place as expected with no draft. Would highly recommend to others looking for a way to reduce drafts around window air conditioner units.

No air!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So we had a massive issue with our porch door. There was a tiny crack even when the door was closed and air would always come in (cold in winter and warm in summer) and it would affect the temp in our home! This product was a fullll solution, never have to think about this again
