Great buy at $300 bucks

The bike was very easy to assemble which was done in about 30 minutes. The test ride was almost great until I discovered the bike needed my assist to continue electrical power. However, I have adapted to that feature and have come to appreciate it. I'm surrounded by hilly terrain which allows me to get my exercise and embrace the assist when struggling to get up hill. The bike is very durable and somewhat comfortable, but could use more breaking power, especially on the front. I stand 5'6" and weigh 170 and generally clock 25 mph on the flat and 29 on the decline. Even the headlight was impressively bright. A flashing taillight and side view mirrors would definitely be a helpful add on. Overall, the bike met and almost exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this bike for purchase . Just make sure you're ordering what you expect, whether it's full powered or assisted.

Easy assembly, wish the battery lasted longer to match the descriptions. straight throttle will get me about 12 miles, and using petal assistance goes roughly 17. The front shocks are to soft. i have rode this bike for about 450 miles so far and no electrical problem. Would be great for teens or adults as a short range commuter bike. would recommend getting a secondary battery if doing more than 15 miles per charge.

Good bike, but need to take care of it

I use the bike to commute to work. I drive through city streets, a fair amount on pothole and bumps. I do have some inclines as well. Bike is so far working well, although i am large and I constantly pedal so the battery does not wear out. I rode over a staple the first week, so i needed to change the rear tube. Since then, the gear needle is stuck on 7, but the gears do change. I go about 22 mph on 4 PAS. My commute is about 6 miles each way, and it takes me there and back on one charge. I once tried to stand and pedal up a hill, and the chain fell off. I kept on pedaling and switching gears till it clicked back on. Now, every commute, the chain falls off once or twice. I just keep on pedaling and switching gears till it clicks back on. I would recommed this bike, but you need to take care of it, and even then, i dont think it will last forever. My commute costs me $6 daily x 4 days a week with mass transit. So, i figure if the bike replaces mass transit for roughly half a year, i made back the cost of the bike. However long the bike lasts after that, is profit.
