OK i was hesitant tha.t this may not fit my LG fridge, but after taking the chance and had a good online discount on top of it... i purchased the 6 pack. watching various videos of others having possible problems with it, I actually opened one and it went in easily one must make sure those tabs inside the filter manifold are at the 3 o clock and 9 o clock position when twisting the old filter out this had a slightly different inner design on the inner filter mount than the OEM LG LT1000P but it did went in easily. push in, twist clockwise and it locked in place. so the outer tabs were similar i was checking other waterdrop listings and one of them actually shows the picture comparison between the 2 designs. this is numbered WD F46 as the main one on the label of these coconut charcoal husk filters canceled my return to store process and now have 3 years of filters to use I'm saving the old LG filter and make an alignment tool as seen online just in case the fridge manifold goes out of alignment in the future changes
