LEGO City Yellow Taxi Car Building Toy for Kids - Pretend Play Set for Boys & Girls, Ages 5+ - Toy Car W/Taxi Driver & Tourist Minifigures - GIft Idea for Birthdays - 60487

Honestly, this LEGO City Yellow Taxi (60487) is an all-around great little set. As both an adult collector and a dad who builds a lot with his kids, I think this one hits the absolute sweet spot. It is a super quick, stress-free build that you can knock out together in about 10 or 15 minutes, making it perfect for younger kids who might lose patience with bigger sets. The absolute best part for parents? Zero stickers! Every single detail, from the dashboard map to the taxi logos, is printed right on the bricks, so you don't have to worry about crooked stickers or peeling. LEGO really nailed the design on this one by trading the old-school boxy look for a sleek, modern electric vehicle style. The bright yellow colorway pops beautifully on a display shelf or a play rug, and it has a great sporty shape. There is even a tiny EV motor under the lifting hood and a fun little The LEGO Movie "Welcome to Bricksburg" Easter egg printed on the roof slope that old-school fans will appreciate. For actual playtime, it's incredibly functional and durable. The roof pops off easily so kids can get their hands inside the detailed "leather" interior. It easily fits both included minifigures at the same time—the driver in his fun Hawaiian shirt and the tourist passenger. Plus, the trunk actually opens up to store her suitcase and printed LEGO laptop. It rolls super smoothly across the floor and stands up to rough play, making it a fantastic, high-value addition to any LEGO town. For the price, you really can't beat it!

There are over 100 bright lego pieces in the set. My 7 year old nephew put it together with the easy to follow instructions. The taxi's trunk opens, and it has an accessible to a make believe electric motor. You also get two minifigures. The car does not use stickers, the graphics are printed on the pieces. It is a great set, my nephew won't stop playing with it! And the price is extremely reasonable!!
