I owned the previous generation of this safety shoe & it lasted 3 years with no issues other than replacing the gel inserts. I bought my latest set on the Sketcher website. Very easy process and the shipping updates were a nice touch. I LOVE the improvements the shoe has. It is slip on so no laces to worry about; the heal area has thicker padding and the soul seems thicker which allows me to walk taller. This safety shoe is the best bang for the buck and I would put it up against any other comparable shoe 3 times it's cost. Well done Sketchers !!

This is a repeat purchase as my husband needs safety toe shoes for work and loves the ease of stepping into the shoes. First pair was purchased two years ago and the only reason for replacing is because the sole is detaching from the rest of the shoe. Now that we have the replacement pair, I may see if a local shoe repair can re-attach the sole.
