I don't have a fridge with an ice maker and need to spend money on ice every week for my softball cooler. I got fed up with that and got this countertop ice maker. It is very easy to use, just fill water in the main compartment to the fill line and hit start. The large size nugget is the perfect size. just start it up and give it a few hours and you will have a small basket of ice. It is definitely much faster than an ice tray. For more long term ice i dump the tray into a small bin in my freezer. In a day there is easily enough ice for a cooler.
