Great soundbar for a movie lover!

I guess worth the price for movies! I compared this with soundbar 900 which is Dolby Atmos too and this 550 was just standing nearby in term of surround sound. Great sound for dialogues and I could feel the HP series movies dialogue clearly. Additionally the compact design is a plus and sound as good as my 900 soundbar in movies. but with music listening, I feel more disappointed, however, after a little tuning it sounded okay.. For movie lover, get this a great deal since it will be 100x worth the price. I see it's out of stock now but grab this in just 200 if you could, it's a steal! i tested in HP movie, forgot the part, but when they want to destroy all horceux and got into the bank where they faced dragons, and the bank clerks and the scene where they were dumped from the rail after bank manager know they are theives. those all sounds amazing with 550 soundbar. i am not wrting the movie or character names since my review may not be accepted due to copyright but you know what scene I am mentioning here. movie sounded phenomenal for the design and the price, music still okay.

Initially the sound was very mediocre until you adjusted the settings in the Bose app. Very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a soundbar.

Bose service sucks, no warranty

Bose 550 soundbar, sounds very good, a little shallow on the base, Bose app is really awful to work with, better off to down load the pdf file. This unit with the Walmart discount pricing is 1.5 years old. When you try to register it with Bose you get no warranty, no help, just a run-around. Even though I like the unit and compact size, I may return it just for the fact the service was very poor and no warranty even it was new in the box.
