Overall unimpressed. The assembly instructions would have benefited from clearer diagrams or a dedicated instructional video. Given the price, the product feels cheaply constructed and lacks sufficient sturdiness. This was purchased for a 9-year-old girl (4th grader), and she would likely get no more than one year of use before outgrowing it. At a lower price point and with a clearly defined age range, it would be more justifiable. I'm currently weighing whether to return it and invest a bit more in a gas-powered go-kart, which would likely offer better durability, performance, and longer usability. In other words, this product may be suitable for a 1st–3rd grade child at a price point below $289. The image shown reflects the unit in its fully extended configuration.
