A cute one y/o outfit

Got it for our kid's first birthday. We chose this style to separate the shirt from the pants for easier outfit / diaper changes. Our kid doesn't really like hats so we didn't use the hat, and it's also a bit floppy so wouldn't have been cute. The scarf - it would've been a better design to be button style like some of the drool bibs out there. I knew it would not stay on if I simply just tied it. Our kid is on the smaller end, so the 12-18month size fit fine on our 1 year old. Actually it was a bit loose fitting on him but still really cute. It didnt make sense to get the 6-12 months if he was going to grow out of it quick. The shorts are definitely usable beyond the 1st birthday. The shirt is very specific though, since the "ONE" on the back is stitched in. There are patches on the front that are pretty easy to remove since they aren't sewn in too deeply. After we did 1 machine wash dry, the quality deteriorated a bit, so I definitely don't think it's going to be very long lasting, but we got some really cute pics with it for the big day event.
