Got these for my son's 2nd Christmas he didn't use them right away but now he's about 2.5 and he loves jumping to each one. They aren't very tall so I'm not really worried about it when he falls, he laughs when he does. I would definitely do on a soft surface. We put ours in the grass so it's a soft landing. Overall these will last years and teach coordination. We love them.

Bought for my 3 year old for Christmas, who loves to balance and play the floor is lava. I love how they connect to the balance beams, which I also purchased. These seem very sturdy. They will be easy to clean and have nice textures. I love all the different colors too!
