The Moto G Power series is absolutely, one of, if not, the best budget phone model lines available. First of all, I can't stress enough how much of a difference the 8GB of RAM makes. Lower cost phones, and even phones in the upwards of ~$200 range, will often not have more than 2 - 4 GB of RAM. And those of us who use budget priced phones know the struggle that causes. You get lag, freezes, crashes, errors, and the frustration of never hardly being able to run two apps at the same time without one "going to sleep" (if not crashing) and having to reload it everytime you switch back to it. With 8GB, all of those issues are GONE. I now often come back to my phone several hours later to find an app that was open in the background, can be reopened and be exactly as I left it without having to even reload it. Having seen that difference, I will never again purchase a phone with less than 8GB of RAM. As for the other features, the screen resolution and the camera are probably where some of the cuts are are made to get this phone to be as cheap as it is, but they are both plenty good enough in my opinion, since tech has pretty much evolved to the point that both screens and pictures are clear and decent quality, even on more budget devices. The pictures don't look like they are from a cheap phone at all to me. In fact, they are the best quality I have ever had on a phone. But I have never owned a phone that costs more than $200, so my standards for such things aren't exactly going to be comparing to $1000 premium phones. The camera also has many different options for playing around with the camera itself, as well as editing pictures and videos. Unless you are downloading a lot of big games or take a lot of photos and videos and for some reason not using cloud storage in 2025, the 128GB of storage is plenty for having all the apps you want. The battery lasts a good amount of time, and the up to 30W wired Turbo Charging, and up to 15W Wireless Charging are amazing bonus features for a phone of this price that you won't often see! If you have TracFone, or are going to start using them, this price of $79.99 already makes this listing a no brainer. The included year of service makes it a steal if you don't need more minutes and/or data. Since 90% of the time I use WiFi, and therefore, WiFi calling and texting, which does not take any Minutes or Data, 1500 Minutes/Texts and 1.5GB of Data a month for that other 10% is plenty (especially using Data Saver Mode). And the unused Minutes and Data carries over each month as well, which gradually builds a reserve over time just in case. TL;DR The Moto G Power series is one of, if not, the best options for having access to multiple, what are typically, mid to high tier features, but on a budget low tier price. While that might come at a cost to a couple things, the benefits far outweigh the cost.
