I was lucky to buy these on clearance so I bought four pairs, and plan to wear them outside instead of boots while running local errands when the pavement is clean and dry. I bought an 8 Wide hoping they'd fit and they're ever so slightly loose---so socks a bit thicker or an insert will be needed. Over time I learned a wide shoe width won't require going up a full size for nearly all footwear. Certain types of slippers can have another outsole attached to extend their usable life, which I might do. Online instructions exist to avoid a professional cobbler's expense.

These are truly great slippers. I read the reviews prior to ordering and all were spot on. The quality is of the type you would expect of an item much more expensive. To buy slippers this well made and attractive under $ 20 is pretty much unheard of these days. They also have a real rubber type sole and the inside "fur" is soft and warm. They run true to size in length and width. This is a very nice choice, especially for a winter slipper.
