these are a much thicker sherpa like pile the zippered neck is longer and two side pockets at the side seems will fit the basics you need to carry. they aren't lined but can be layered over hoodie sweatshirts if more warmth is needed. we are living in base layers this winter and do the job quite well. they will likely soften up after washing and drying as the others of similar material have purchased before do. the sizing seams more generous as well. I purchased some hoodie sherpa shirts similar several years ago from Sams club and have been searching for more as husband has well-loved those to the point of replacement and of course when went to reorder, they were gone. these are affordable while not the same they will work for me since I run colder and like a roomier generous cut in clothing.

I have ordered many of these sherpa shirts. they are warm generous in sizing have the longer zippered neck and two side pockets. they match any wardrobe and have been indispensable the last two weeks of bitter temperatures. I even waited to do laundry because I didn't want to be without them even that long. it's like wearing a blanket. they offered the pants made of the same material so hey I was walking around in a wearable blanket that didn't require that much adjustment. and since I was wearing base layers nothing rough touched bare skin. if there is any complaint it's that they should have lined with a softer fleece or flannel because the inner side is a bit scratchy. But they soften up after washing which helps. as a general rule, I wash these with like colors the first time to make sure they don't shed on other clothing. they dry quickly on tumble or less dry setting.
