Does exactly what I need it to do, and it holds quite a bit. Plenty of food and water for my two kittens to be fully nourished while I travel for two days at a time. I would recommend wiping the water bowl every so often, it does get a light grimy layer if the water sits for too long, as with any bowl.

I purchased this set of dry food and water bowls. They are lightweight and easy to take apart. It's really great when you just want gravity to fill the pet's bowl. I realized that a lot of food comes down. So I put a circular plastic lid with a triangle shape cut out at the opening where the food comes out. This way it helps to slow the food that drops out to the bowl. I did this to help my cats with portion control when they eat.
