It came in a reasonable size box. When I unpacked it, I like to lay everything out to check that all parts are present. Got a little worried that I was missing a part as there was a number missing but found it in the bag with another number so panic over. Instructions were pretty clear and didn't take me to long to put together. It says easier with 2 people but I managed it just fine. Its pretty sturdy and I like the look of it overall. Its high enough that provides a good amount of clearance to store items underneath. My suitcase fitted comfortable under.
