ONE YEAR NON-TRANSFERRABLE LIMITED WARRANTY. Radio Systems Corporation, owner of the PetSafe Brand, (hereinafter referred to as “PetSafe”) warrants to the original retail consumer purchaser who purchased a PetSafe product from an authorized dealer of PetSafe products, and not any other purchaser or subsequent owner, that its PetSafe product, when subject to normal and proper residential use, will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the purchase date. An “original retail consumer purchaser” is a person or entity who originally purchases the product, or a gift recipient of a new product that is unopened and in its original packaging. When serviced by PetSafe Customer Service, PetSafe covers labor and parts for the first year of ownership; after the first year, a service or upgrade charge will apply relative to replacement of the product, with new or refurbished items at PetSafe’s sole discretion.

Gets the job done but I wished for the price the buttons weren't so sensitive. I wish there was a slide lock or something to then enable the buttons. Other than that the product is great, holds good charge.

Not made well

I purchased this product through a recommendation from a friend who had the older style. We borrowed it for a couple of months and it was fantastic. Since Pet Safe doesn't offer the old style any longer, we went with the Core trainer. The first 6 months were great. It certainly did it's job training my dog. But, 6 months after purchasing, the battery started to die. Pet Safe sent us a new one under warranty. Unfortunately I didn't fit it correctly and it came off while we were in the woods. I ordered another collar. So far so good. But, my new complaint is the wrist strap broke off . I am very careful with this remote so it wasn't from misuse on my part. I'm disappointed in the quality of this product. The old style lasted for years ( according to my friend who still uses it 7 years later.). I hope Pet Safe works on improving these products because they really work well for training purposes.
