These boots are so comfortable! When you walk, you have the experience of a cushioned bounce under your feet. I purposely ordered a half size larger to ensure I could wear thick socks comfortably. The boots are exactly as pictured. Since the closure is velcro, there will be no hassle with the strings coming loose. This is one of my best late-season purchases, but received it right in time before the snowstorm!
