I'm a 9W in Sandals, 10W in closed shoes. For this particular flat I went with the 9 1/2 and added a heel pad so it would not slip off. The 9 felt snug, but I wanted room to wear a sock so I went up 1/2 a size. If you have wide feet this flat is wide enough.
