My niece and I put this together for her son who is five years old and autistic and he absolutely loves it!!!. It took us a while to put together and it was worth it. He smiles and laughs so much. The tunnel does give him a few issues because you can see the ground but still goes through it. We did not find the directions hard to follow we had all of the hardware and we used the tools that it came with for entire assembly.
