I recently became a cat owner so have ordered several types of covers to protect my furniture from them and this one is my favorite. It doesn't fit my small recliner perfectly because the armrests don't quite line up but it covers it well. The elastic straps are hidden and they do a good job of keeping it from slipping around. It doesn't cover the footrest while the chair is reclined, so if that's a factor for you, you might not like it. So far I've washed it twice and it held up just fine; no problems with the stitching on the binding and the pockets. The fabric is smooth and doesn't pill or hang onto fuzz or cat hair. The quilting is not stitched, but it is holding up very well.
