Clammy not cooling.
I bought 3 of these, and here are my thoughts: 1) The colors bleed. I bought 2 blue and 1 orange and washed before using as instructed. The orange color bleed almost completely out, and it became mostly blue. And the blue stained a shirt I was wearing. 2) The feeling is more "clammy" than cooling. 3) If you were hoping it would work as a sports towel, to absorb sweat, it won't.
