Great find.

I was making a cake that required a 4 minute mix on medium speed. About 2 minutes into this I thought about a stand mixer since my hands were getting tired. My daughter had bought herself a 500.00 Kitchen Aid mixer for Christmas and said her only issue was the beater didn't reach the bottom of the bowl. Imagine her surprise to see my "fraction of the price"mixer worked better than hers' did, including mixing from the bottom of the bowl. I Love this mixer.

This mixer is very nice

This mixer works really well, I tested whipping cream, kneading cooky dough and batter with the three beaters. Everything works well. If you want to whip cream, make sure it is cold and the amount is not very much, e.g. 400ml. I poured in 1L and it didn't whip, but it is not the machine problem, just follow the instructions.

Hamilton Beach Durable Piece of Equipment

So far I have made corn bread, mash potatoes, coffee cake, and sweet dinner rolls during the time I have owned the Hamilton Beach Stand Mixer... I have to admit that when I first unwrapped the Hamilton Beach Mixer I had my doubts especially when I found out how the attachments were hooked up... I thought to myself that this was going to break within a matter of months if not weeks... After using the Hamilton Beach for the last 2 weeks I am confident that I have a durable peace of equipment on my hands... There have been times when the Hamilton Beach had bogged down, but this has also happened to me with my old 300watt Kitchen Aid Mixer, and my mother's 350watt Kitchen Aid Mixer when kneading bread... My suggestion for this particular machine is not to knead any dough that calls for more than 3 1/2 to 4 cups of flour at a time, just to be on the safe side... Other than that I have no problems with the Hamilton Beach and would like to give another review after owning and using it after a six month period… Thank You
