I recommend the stockings, the zipper is very helpful, for me they were a bit too long in the leg up to the knee a little too far so I rolled them over. The foot fit good since I have a long foot usually I can't get stockings long enough in the foot. These are strong and should hold up for decades. I hand wash them and hang them to dry. They do help alleviate, swollen ankles, and legs! I got the 3X size and they shrunk very little in the wash and they still fit. I have big calves for a short, 5 foot two person who wears a size extra large Misses size,I wear petite pants. my calves are in 15 1/2 inch cat and a weird size ladies 11 wide shoe for foot length and my ankles or 11 inches and the stocking from the heel to the knee is like 15 inches or more if you pull it out n up more . I try n keep the stocking dense so I pull little so it's about 15” tall from heel to knee. This is the 3x size , again I wear women's size 11 W shoe but also a man's size 9 1/2 wide to 10wide shoe. Hope this review helps helps.a million people since they never tell you the size of the person‘s ankle calf and leg and foot length and that all makes a big difference trying to find a stocking that fits, I have been through many many many stockings because they won't tell you what size they will fit please note if you're bigger than the sizes I mentioned you will need a bigger size stocking. These stockings don't pinch or hurt. They are snug, but not too snug not restricted, but they are snug comfortable snug, that counts!
