Great buy, invest in aftermarket for a solid run!

This bike retails for up to $1,398; I paid $598.77 including shipping. At that price I strongly recommend it. I'm over 250 lbs (still within the weight limit). Before 300 miles the stock rear tire and tube failed. Amyet credited $28 toward replacements, which was fair. These are typical low-quality nylon tires rated only to 20 PSI—common cost-cutting across many e-bike brands. I recommend upgrading to quality tires such as HEB Allscape or Vipress (often on sale; full price can reach ~$120 each). Also swap to sintered brake pads; they are rated for up to 3,000 miles versus roughly one-third that for most stock pads. Build quality is solid. With better tires the ride is smooth and the bike consistently hits 27 mph, occasionally 30 mph, even at my weight. The half-twist throttle felt odd at first, but the comfortable grips and pedal assist make it acceptable. Mag wheels eliminate the spoke problems common on high-torque or higher-weight e-bikes. Overall it feels higher quality than my previous Drift-Slide J1. I also bought the three-year protection plan after the bike arrived and I decided to keep it. Store it indoors; winter/snow riding is hard on the battery and can make the nylon hub gears brittle.

Described correctly. Fast and fun, controls take a minute to figure out. Only downside right now is the handle bar assembly due to the fact that all bolts are as tight as can be and they keep moving.

Product appeared to be well packaged upon arrival. Once opened there were missing parts - silicon cap, washer and bolt. Parts bolts, washers, and nuts that did come in the package were loose in a small box. Instructions for not match because some parts were already put together (handle bar and wheels) while the video showed every piece put together step by step. Also received the rear break lever cracked in half. Over all the bike is really nice, great size, and good speed. Emailed the company on Christmas after we put it together to see if they could ship the broken/missing parts without us having to send the whole bike back. Bike got shipped from Jersey City, NJ
