Assembly was slow and steady. I assembled myself. Make sure you attach the base to the frame correctly. Comfort lies in your position in the chair. When your legs are down, the chair will naturally sit more upright. If using an ottoman, you will be slightly reclined. If drawing legs up in the seat, it will more fully recline. For best comfort, use throw pillows as additional support. The cushion is comfortable, not overly fluffy on the seat but still comfortable. For the price, I am very pleased with this chair. I would give it a solid 4.5. It adds style, variety, and fun to my otherwise matchy patio set. It has become my favorite place to start my day!
