Several questions and compliments on these shoes. They are comfortable and I mostly wear them inside and for exercise. But these shoes are not meant for walking in wet and muddy areas. I don't think they will last for a long time if they're used for extended walks and hikes on rough surfaces. There is no arch support. They were inexpensive, comfortable, and some people, including me, thought they looked good. The shoes are also a good substitute for barefoot exercise, sometimes recommended for balance and foot and ankle strength.
