Get ready for an easy-to-grow, delectable delicacy that you can pick right off the plant and eat fresh! The Ouachita Blackberry Bush produces consistently high yields and has excellent post-harvest quality, making it a staple plant for any garden growing in zones 6-9. Anyone who has picked wild blackberries in the woods may be hesitant to grow them at home. Not with thornless blackberry plants—you have nothing to worry about! The bush matures to be 4-5 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide, and pruning helps to maintain your desired shape. A trellis system provides numerous advantages, including increased picking efficiency, control over plant size, and reduced insect and disease problems. These blackberries adhere well to a wire or wood trellis, making them effortless to manage. They grow quickly and will require 1-2 inches of water per week while fruiting. Shipped rooted in soil in a pot (not bare root), you'll see the difference in fruit quality. These plants thrive in full sunlight, producing vibrant green foliage and delicate white flowers. The Ouachita Blackberry Bush combines visual appeal with simplicity, resulting in an abundant harvest of juicy blackberries. This bush is a beautiful and productive addition to any garden, and it is simple to grow and upkeep.
