These coats are true to images and lightweight jacket for transitioning weather fall into winter. But do run small , i purchased 2 previous XL size 14 for my slim 10 year old and they fit too tight if your wearing sweatshirts underneath so this XXL size 16 fit way better with just enough space and doesn't look too large.
