This is such a great early-season, layer-able option for kids. The mornings are chilly, but it isn't quite time to haul out the hefty snow coats yet. I also love that it is water resistant. These coats are true to images and lightweight jacket for transitioning weather fall into winter. But do run small , i purchased 2 previous XL size 14 for my slim 10 year old and they fit too tight if your wearing sweatshirts underneath so this XXL size 16 fit way better with just enough space and doesn't look too large.
